Vintage Double Wedding Ring Quilt Handmade Intricate Quilting 74×56. Very lovely and well made Double Wedding Ring quilt. The intersections of the rings are white and green, while the rest of the rings are a profusion of colors and patterns. The edges are scalloped. The batting is thin, but because of the dense and intricate hand quilting, this quilt feels stiff and heavier than at first blush. The back is a nice white. As with all vintage quilts, this may have some minor rips, but I could not see any when taking pictures. Measures approximately 74×56 and shown on a queen bed on top of a comforter. Beautiful Vintage Double Wedding Ring Feedbag Hand Made Throw or Display Quilt
This is a charming vintage handmade quilt. It is probably from around the depression era. The quilter used feedbags in the construction of the quilt. The colors are still bright. The colors used are white, green, blue, red, tan, yellow and pink. It is lighter in weight. The hand stitching is beautifully done. The quilt measures 63″ x 62″. The second photo shows the quilt on a full sized bed for reference. I have carefully washed the quilt. It is in good condition, with a few seams on the small pieces that have come apart. There is some light bleeding of the dark blue color through to the pink backing. Please let me know if you need any additional information. From a non-smoking home.
